Egg Hunt

Although we did not get to hunt egg on Easter, Griffin had an egg hunt at his school. Here are some pictures. He loves his school and his teachers, but mostly his friends.

Tucker, 4 months

I can't believe how fast the time goes. Tucker is growing so fast and is coming into his own little personality already. He loves his toes and I think that is the reason he will not roll over yet (has done it a couple of times on the couch, but not on the floor yet)- he just lays on his back and grabs his toes and rolls side-to-side. He also loves to babble...and slobber. Of course, everything goes in his mouth, especially his fingers. Lately he has found his thumb a few times too. Most days he manages to soak the top front of his shirts, but he doesn't seem to mind. Tucker loves to be held facing out. He wants to watch what id going on around him. He is like his brother in that he would rather sit up or stand than snuggle...guess I'll have to have a girl to get a cuddler. He still loves to be hugged on and loves attention so we have a fun time playing together. He loves his brother, although he is learning to be prepares for anything when he comes barreling up to him.

Tucker has hit a rough patch at night. He was doing so good...and then he got a cold. All you mothers know how that can mess up these little guys. We have been up a lot these past 2 weeks, but I think he is finally getting over it. The last 2 nights have been better- not great- but getting back to where we were before. He is still coughing some, which wakes him up, but we are back to eating only once and sleeping till after 7 again, so I think we are on the right track. He got his 4 month shots on Monday and has been a little out of sorts this week...maybe next week we can get back to normal. Oh well, I still wouldn't trade a day without him.

We love you Tuck!

Easter

Here are some pictures from our trip to Searcy on Easter. Tucker was sick on Sunday, so we didn't get the "Easter picture" and it rained all day so no egg hunt. Luckily, Griffin had an egg hunt at school and we took pictures this past weekend (all those to come). Despite the rain and sickness, we had a great time. As all the "cousins" get bigger, it is fun to watch them all interact.

My Big Boys

I am once again way behind on my posts. I will try to get all our Easter pics up soon. In the meantime, here are my boys looking SO big. Nathan set this photo op up, by the way.

My Little Ham

He came up with this idea all on his own. Of course, he talked mommy into helping. Should I be worried? :)

Trip to Houston

This month we finally got to meet our newest family member, Grant William, who was born one day after Tucker. Grant is Nathan's brother Jason's and his wife Traci's first child. They live in Houston and we had been waiting for a free weekend to get to spend some time with them. It was great to see Jason and Traci and to meet Grant- he is such a sweetie. I know that he and Tucker will be good buds some day and probably follow Griffin into much trouble- we cant wait!

Kite Festival

This is one of our favorite "Austin" things to do. Every year they have a kite festival the first Sunday in March and fill up Zilker Park with kites, food, games for the kids, etc... This was our 3rd time to go and it was in a little different location which was not as open and a lot more dirt than grass (as you can see from the pictures). The wind was not very high, so it was hard for us (and others) to get our kites flying high, but it was still a fun event and the weather was great. Griffin loved just playing in the dirt- I don't think even would have noticed the kites at all if we had not been constantly pointing to them. I am sure we will continue to make this an annual event.
