Second Visit from Arkansas

It is not often we get company and very rare to have visits from both families within the same week (and I was not even having a baby :)). Grandma and Grandpa came on Friday afternoon and stayed until Monday morning. Other than the constant rain, we had a great time! They took the boys to 2 movies and it cleared up some on Sunday afternoon, so they even got to play outside in the creek. It was a great visit and fun to see everyone back to back without having to drive 9 hours! Again, I was blessed to be able to steal pictures - these are ones that Grandpa took.

Soccer

Griffin is playing soccer again this spring. This time we are playing in Pflugerville, it is 3on3, 6 and under. He is one of the youngest on his team, but he is doing great and loving it. We are playing again with buddies Jace and Brinton, who are both very skilled, and we have a great team. Both games have been blowouts- one in our favor and one not (although the latter we were missing 2 players). Griffin's biggest asset is his defense. He is a hustler and plays hard- making his "coaching" parents proud. Here are some pictures my sister took when she was here.

Kite Festival

Here are a few pics from the Kite festival last Sunday. It was fun to take my sister and nieces this year. This was our 6th year in a row to go I believe- maybe the most crowded too. We didnt even attempt to fly a kite this time- just went for the experience.

visit from Arkansas

This past week we had visitors! While we are usually the ones making the trip, this time we got to be the hosts. My mom, my sister Courtney and her two sweet little girls, Lily and Jude, came on Friday and left this morning. We had a great time playing, watching movies, shopping, watching soccer, going to Culver's and the Kite festival, and just having lots of fun! The kids had a great time and got along really well. Lucky for us, my sister is a great photographer and captures much of it on film
