Daddy was supposed to be watching me

Last week, While I was over on the couch working on the computer, Griffin was playing by himself over on the stairs. I thought he was just being quiet but little did I know he was up to something. I walked over to scare him and ended up getting one of the best laughs I've ever had. He was wrist deep in a huge jar of Vaseline and had been rubbing it on his face and hair for the past several minutes. As you can see...He got it all over. It took a couple days and several showers before it came out. This will be one we'll remember for a long time.

Super Why

We have discovered a new show in our house- Super Why. Anybody else watch it? It is a cute show that teaches kids letters, sounds, words. I don''t know what it is about it, but Griffin is mesmerized by it. He watches other shows- Sesame Street, Curious George, etc..., but mostly plays, while occasionally turning his head to the TV to see what's going on. But this show- the whole half hour he just sits and watches. I think he is taking a lot of it in, because he seems to be learning a new letter everyday. Anyway, if you have not seen that show, it is worth a try- it has my non-stop on-the-go-all-the-time boy stopping and sitting still.

It is on our pbs station- it comes on at 10 here, after Clifford.

Griffin on the Tractor

My parents' church just built a new auditorium. There is still a lot of construction and there was a tractor in the parking lot that Uncle Carson thought Griffin would love to sit in. Boy was he right! We could hardly get him out of there.

Trip to Searcy, the Progressive Dinner

Every year my family has a progressive dinner at Christmas. My mom and her 2 saisters all live in Searcy, so we go to all 3 houses for appetizers, salads, and the main course, then finish at my grandmother's house for dessert. This year we had a theme- the places we have lived. It was loud and fun as usual- thanks for waiting on us this year and having it a little later!

Anna was our "Anna Right", host of our trivia game about family history, at our salad stop at the Camp's

Leave it to Grandmother to take care of Griifn, giving him ice at the main course house, the Tribbles
The Fant Clan- soon to be one more when my sister, Courtney and Blake have their little girl

All the grandkids and 1 great-grandkid

We are so excited that next Christmas Griffin will have a little girl cousin to play with.

Laughing with Grandma- she is so funny!

Uncle Justin "messing up" Griff's hair

We went and visited some friends of Justin and Julie that had Huskie puppies. Griffin tried to give them hugs.

Christmas in Houston

Griffin really loves his Aunt Traci and Uncle Jason.
We are so excited that now he will have a new cousin to play with when we go there. Congratulations Jason and Traci!

This is Jason and Traci's dog, Jackson.
He looks scary, but he is really sweet and Griffin loves him.

He also loves his bed!
